Larry D has requested that we develop a complete line of Les Baer "Correct Width" 1911 grips that will fill the wide space that most standard 1911 grips do not address. With the cad/cam models and cnc information transferred by Larry Davidson to SGM Grips in 2016, we have completed Larry's request.

American Spalted woods are a great alternative to Cocobolo which has been placed on the CITES endangered species list. Since late 2017 Cocobolo has now joined gri materials that can no longer be shipped into the US or across ANY International Boundary from the country of origin. Several materials that will no longer be available for grips are Ivory, Camel Bone, Dalbergia Retusa aka Cocobolo, all Rosewoods and many more Exotic hardwoods. Spalted grips give Stainless and Blued 1911's a fantastic look.
